Who we are
We are a small, private art studio that's been family owned and operated since 2011. We provide a fun and educational enviroment for kids to learn all about art!
We teach classes in a structured setting for kindergarteners all the way up to twelfth graders. Students will use and learn about a wide variety of mediums, techniques, and some art history too! You name it, we'll probably use it! Everything from oil pastels, soft pastels, ebony pencils, water colors, tempera paints, ink, paper mache, and clay to name a few.
The students do all the work themselves! Nothing is pre-made for them here. We pride ourselves on the fact that in a classroom where students will all learn the same lesson, their art is uniquely theirs from start to finish! We absolutely love what we do. Just come in and find out for yourself!
Hi! My name is Mary and welcome to my family’s studio! Let me tell you a little about myself. I’m the one and only instructor here at Wonder Colors Art Studio. I graduated from The Savannah College of Art and Design in 2010 with a B.F.A in illustration.
I started teaching at a tiny studio that same year and fell absolutely in love with it. When an opportunity to make that tiny studio my own presented itself in 2011, I leapt at it! Really the rest is history except now I’ve got my family involved haha.
My husband, William, has been with me from the very start and answering the phone since 2011. If you call, it’s him you’ll get. He does all the administrative work behind the scenes to help us run smoothly. We’ve also recently had the pleasure of adding my mom to the team in January of 2025 as my studio assistant.
