What's summer camp like?
Our art camps are a blast for kids who love art! We offer camps during June and July for rising 1st graders - rising 12th graders. Each camp is one week Monday-Friday and each day of their camp students will focus on a different art lesson and medium. Lessons and mediums may vary from camp to camp and age groups to accommodate a variety of skill levels. We often have students do more than one week of camp. Camps are kept small so we can assure each student gets one on one time with our art teacher. We only allow 16 children maximum per camp. Camps are divided up by age group so students can work on projects that are age-appropriate for them and engage with their peers.
What mediums will my child get to learn about?
We use so many different materials during camp! Clay, watercolor, acrylics, tempera, collâge, oil pastels, soft pastels, color pencil, and printmaking to name a few!
How long are camps and how much does it cost?
Art Camps: 2.5 hour sessions M-F, $225 That’s 12.5 hours of art per week! All supplies included!
Due to small camp sizes, we ask that you limit registration to two weeks of camp per child. Campers may not register for two camps in the same week.
What should my child bring to camp?
Students should wear clothes that are art appropriate (messes happen!), and bring a water bottle or drink with a closable cap labeled with their name. That’s it! We provide everything else! We do provide aprons but they are shared among students and understand if you would like to bring your own. We will not be breaking for lunch or snack.
Drop off/ Pick up info:
Campers may be dropped off no earlier than 15 minutes before camp. Parents must be on-time for pick up and may enter the studio no earlier than 5 minutes before the end of camp. We do not allow anyone to wait in our lobby during camp.
Illnesses / Behavioral expectations:
If your child is sick, they may not attend. If your child comes to camp with any symptoms of illness they will immediately be sent home. While our camps are fun and exciting, this is still a classroom environment and we expect your child to behave as such. All students are expected to be respectful of themselves, others, and the studio. If your child cannot comply with these expectations, they will not be able to attend.
Registration opens 3/1/26
